FAQ's

SSB stands for Services Selection Board. It is a common name given to selection procedure and tests conducted for selection as officers as in Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and Indian Coast Guards. During the SSB process a lot of tests are conducted to see that the candidate is mentally and physically fit enough to join the Armed Forces as an Officer.

SSB Testing includes two Phases. Phase – I is also called as Screening Test and Phase – II is test of OLQs (Officer Like Qualities). During Phase – I, Reasoning Aptitude (OIR Testing) and PP&DT (Picture Perception and Description Test) are conducted. During Phase – II, Psychological Test, Personal Interview, Group Testing and Board Conference are conducted.

Actually, SSB process is a test of Personality and Behaviour. That is why all the tests are aimed at looking into the personality and behaviour of candidates (to see the suitability as Officers in Armed Forces). Since the SSB process includes tests of personality, it takes time to align the personality with what was required during the testing. How much time is required; depends upon individual to individual. The basic idea is “sooner the better”. This also helps in refining the behaviour and other skills sooner than later.

Firstly, a person has to sincerely work towards aligning the personality and behaviour towards the end requirements for selection in the Armed Forces. Secondly, while doing this, it is absolutely essential that solutions from other people and coachings based on rote learning, short cut tricks are not followed. These ‘quick-fix’ solutions don’t depict your personality and will always result in a failure! The idea is to retain the originality and align towards the requirements of Armed Forces.

We conduct carefully curated behaviour and aptitude profiling tests that give the students a look into their ‘real-self’. With this as background information, they are skilfully guided to improve (where ever required) and become better version of themselves, while retaining their own originality. This makes them ideal for suitability into the Armed Forces. Our programme makes students better and better versions of themselves in real life as well (that is what exactly is required and tested during the SSB). The course structure caters to open discussions and sharing of experiences. This gives better perspective to all the participants. Home assignments are also given for better implementation of the lessons learnt during the course. We advocate that our course curriculum is not the end of learning but the start! For this reason, the students are given extended support and follow up to solve their doubts and help them in re-aligning up to an extended period of minimum 90 days after completion of course. This period is deemed sufficient for optimum results. For this reason, it is advised to join the course with sufficient lead time in hand.

We restrict our Batches to maximum 15 students. This enables for customised guidance which otherwise would not have been possible in a crowd.

Since it is a personality and behaviour development programme, anyone between the ages of 17.5 years to 25 years can join. Basic knowledge of English is required for the course (speaking and writing).

We believe in retaining the original thought process of students rather than shoving someone else’s. Thereafter, we ensure that the students build up and align their thought process as per the ‘Leadership Qualities’ that help in every aspect of life; in all roles a person lives in; including with family and friends. Since success in life is mostly depending upon interaction with total strangers (SSB, Work, Professional Needs etc), our programme brings these qualities and skills from within students. These are original and native to every individual (and therefore unique). This in our practical experience is the best way to success in all endeavours.

Based on the feedbacks at the end of course as well as during extended interaction post course; students have shared their real life experiences. These experiences clearly indicate that they are more confident; they can understand others better and were able to mould themselves as well as others for better end results. This is our biggest success! Our students reaping the benefits of their own hard work in real life!!

Yes we have a personality development module. In our practical experience; merely having academic knowledge does not guarantee success in life. This is where we pitch in. We help individuals to refine their personality and soft skills so that, they are able to better apply their academic / professional knowledge better in social environments especially in their professional fields. Our personality and soft skills development programme enables our students to better apply their academic knowledge in all fields of their professional and personal life.

We also conduct specialised classes on “Generation Z” for companies, teachers, mentors, parents and professors. This enables them to understand the Gen Z better thereby reducing the generation gap. Thereafter, they can better align the Gen Z towards academic, professional and social requirements.
